KG Type VIIcStatic Diving WWII U-Boat model kit
KG Type VIIcStatic Diving WWII U-Boat model kit
Ref: 2154
The Type VII is probably the best known and legendary U-Boat of all times.

This new kit series is equipped with brushless motors and aluminum bulk head on the main drive!

The hull unit is of the same high quality as the rest of the Engel KG model series made from hand laminated fiberglass and is very rigid. All other fittings and accessories such as the conning tower, diving planes, and rudders are made from resin and are highly detailed. The net cutter, reeling, and many other brass parts are pre-assembled and already soldered.

The model is outfitted with a radial division to allow the inner section (so-called technical frame or Tech-Rack) to be inserted. It is made of CNC cut PVC, which allows for easy and fast assembly. This entire frame is reinforced with alloy rods for additional support.

The WTC is a tube fabricated from 3mm (approx.1/8") PVC material and transparent.

The diving system consists of two piston tanks type XP750-12V (with 750ml volume each) and the electronic switch unit Tmax v2.0.
The Tmax Diving System offers a maximum of features such as proportional as well as individual control of each tank, three fail safe devices (max. depth via pressure switch, loss of signal and battery monitor) and LED status indication.
Tmax2 is ready for Static Depth Control TAES (item no. 1585-TAES-V).

The entire model's power system is based on 12 Volt.

All screws, bolts, nuts and struts are made of stainless steel, brass or alloy and are therefore rust proof.

The model is offered as a complete kit just like all other Engel submarines. To get it ready to sail, all what is needed are eight channel R/C system, servos, speed controllers, and, of course, rechargeable batteries.

Engle Submarine Type 212A
Engle Submarine Type 212A
Ref: 2160
Submarine type 212A Static Diving Model Submarine with Piston Tank Type 212 of the German Bundesmarine (Navy) is today’s most modern submarine. This is its counterpart in 1/70 scale. Building time: one weekend. Result: a handy sized model submarine equipped with a Piston Tank performs and dives just as in full size.
This new model submarine developed by ENGEL offers besides radial parting with bayonet lock ring and Tech Rack© very compact dimensions and easy handling.
Hull, sail and all other attaching parts are highly detailed. The Tech Rack© slides into the front part of the hull offering easy access to most of the boat’s internal components. Building is straight forward and quite simple as all parts are prefabricated is highly detailed and sturdy.
Hull, bayonet lock rings, control planes and hull attachments are cast in resin and little to no adjustment. The Tech Rack© is constructed of sturdy CNC-machined, interlocking parts, reinforced with ready-made brass bars. Piston Tank included features AutoStop, meaning that the piston drive will automatically stop at an instant as soon as the tank is completely filled or emptied.
Piston Tank and electronic switch unit CTS are both fully built forming a compact unit without extensive and frail wiring. As all ENGEL sub models the 212 also comes with a full safety package including
loss of transmitter signal
ow battery monitor
water leakage contact
pressure switch
Propelled by an electric motor 540 size and a 6-blade prop the submerged model can reach top speeds of about 10 km/h (6 mph);
however, for realistic operation top speed should be limited to about 2/3 (by accordings setup of speed control)
