Billings are one of the oldest and best known model boat companies in the World. the quality of the kit dose very a little depending on kit but as a rule these kits are good.
All have English instructions and plans. They do a range of static and radio control with hulls been made of the plank on frame type to the ABS moulded Some boats have separate fitting kits, and where applicable, these are included in the prices.

1963 deep sea tug, The Zwarte Zee was built in 1963 at J. & K. Smit's Scheepswerven N.V. in Kinderdijk, Holland. Length 77.50 m, breadth 12.35 m, draught 6.90 m and gross tonnage 1,539 tons. Driven by two Smit-M.A.N. turbo diesel engines yielding 9,000 HP. These machines drive a single propeller shaft through Vulcan fluid clutches and reduction gears. Sir Winston Churchill, Three Mastet Topsail Schooner 'SIR WINSTON CHURCHILL' The Schooner was built in 1965 at the Richard Dunston Ltd., Shipyard in Hessle, Yorkshire, GB, for the "Sail Training Association" in Bosham. The constructors of this ship were Chamber & Nicholsen Ltd. The 'Sir Winston Churchill' is also equipped with a 240 HP help-engine and has a total sail area of 817 sqm. The main-crew consists of 11 men, of these are 8 officers, and they can carry up to 44 ship-boys.In October 1967 a sister ship, the 'Malcom Miller' was taken into service, and was immediately in the media as its crew-members consisted of women. Wasa
1625, A three masted royal ship launched in 1627. Length 70.00 m, breadth 11,50 m, draught 4,80 m, displacement 1,400 tons, sail area 1,150 m2, with a crew of 133 sailors and 300 soldiers. On its maiden voyage in 1628, the Wasa sank in the Stockholm harbour. Using a primitive diving bell, 53 of the ship's 64 cannons were salvaged in 1664. The Oseberg was found in Norway at Oseberg in Vestfold in 1903, resting on a bed of blue clay and covered with turf and stones. The Oseberg was built in the last half of the 800's and was buried roughly 50 years later. The ship is some 50 to 100 years older than similar vessels which have been found. Henry Hudson (1565-1611) was an English explorer who received a commission from the Dutch East India Company to find a Northern trading route to China and Japan.In April 1609 he sailed North and East on the ship the "Halve Maen" to try and find a route around the northern shores of Russia in order to reach the Pacific Ocean that way. After several attempts, which always were stopped by the pack-ice, he crossed the Atlantic to try and find a route north of America. On this voyage he sailed up the Hudson River as far as Albany. Later this river valley was settled under the auspices of the Dutch West India Company and became known as the New-Netherlands

Roar Edge, This Viking ship, dating from about 1000 A.D. was found in 1957 in the bay at Roskilde in Denmark. The wreck was salvaged in 1962, and after a thorough preservation it was possible to carry out a reconstruction of the vessel. Mayflower,A three-masted galleon launched in 1615. Length 19.50 m, breadth 7.95 m, draught 3.35 m and a displacement of 180 tons. The first information about the Mayflower dates from 6th September 1620. After a number of difficulties, the vessel sailed from Plymouth in England with 102 men, women and children on board. After 67 days at sea, the Mayflower cast anchor at the port later to be called Provincetown - almost 200 miles further north than planned. Mayflower II was built in l957 in Brixham, Devon and sailed to the USA, where it is now permanently anchored as a gift to the American nation  1/60th  scale  650mm
